Did You Know That Glenn Hidalgo Absolutely Loves Animals?
So I was talking to my friend Glenn Hidalgo a few days ago and after we talked about the awful Caronavirus, we started to talk about animals.
Turns out both Glenn and I absolutely love all kinds of animals. We both love dogs, cats, snakes, horses, hermit crabs, deer raccoons, cows, eagles, iguanas and more.
Both Glenn Hidalgo and I both love and respect animals and both had pets as a kid. We think it's good for kids to have pets because it teaches them to have respect for animals and creatures that we are either responsible for, or come in contact with.
Glenn Hidalgo has a special place in his heart for French Bull Dogs. He used to have a little Frenchie dog when he was younger and he loves their cute little faces. That sweet, inquisitive look. Glenn also had a snake at one time but she passed away. Funny enough we both had black cats. I said Glenn Hidalgo, why does it not surprise me that we both had black cats? My cat was I swear a reincarnated person. He was so smart. He used to boss around my dogs.
Sitting in a pub, we sat at the table and looked through funny pictures of animals and Glenn Hidalgo and I just cracked up when we saw funny ones.
I told Glenn that my favorite animal is a turtle. That's of course besides the usual dogs and cats. Turtles are just tough as nails and never seem to be rattled. If you were in an emergency, wouldn't you want a turtle on your side? They are delicate but they always look like they have things under control.
To learn about French bull dogs, go here. Here's some of what they have to tell you:
Bat-eared but oddly beautiful, the French Bulldog has a unique appeal. Aesthetically, other breeds undeniably are more glamorous and showy, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and what many behold in the French Bulldog are the attributes that make this breed one of the best companion dogs in the world today.
The Favorite Dog of Glenn Hidalgo
The French Bulldog is small but substantial in build with a powerful muscular body. He sports a short easy-care coat to accompany his easygoing personality. The Frenchie likes to play, but he also enjoys spending his days relaxing on the sofa.
That love of play and relaxed attitude carry over into their training sessions. French Bulldogs are intelligent, and training them is easy as long as you make it seem like a game and keep it fun. They are free thinkers and are not an ideal breed for competing in obedience or agility although some have risen to the challenge. This freethinking approach can also lead to a stubborn nature, and if they decide to dig in their heels there is no budging them.
Frenchies are loving companions who thrive on human contact. If you want an outdoor dog who can be left alone for long periods, the Frenchie is not the breed for you. This is a dog who enjoys lavishing love on his human companions as much as he loves the same treatment in return.
And here's a cool video about turtles. This one walks for days in the desert just to reach a temporary lagoon during rainy season. Glenn Hidalgo and I were shocked when we watched this video.
